More Austerity For Greece.

I wrote earlier this year,  after a few government officials kept repeating that there would be no more austerity, that, guess what, there would be.

How did I know ? It's simple really. Whenever a government Minister says something, in reality, he means the exact opposite.

For example see my article, The Promises Made To Greeks
See:http://mikeselleylyicsplus.blogspot.gr/2013/10/the-promises-made-to-greeks.html
.
The Troika are returning to Greece with guns blazing and their arrogance once again, coupled with their complete lack of compassion, at an all-time high.

They really seem to enjoy squeezing the last drops of blood from the corpse they created.

According the The Greek Reporter these stinking rich Elite are going to demand the absurd new measures outlined below

1.Reduction of salaries and pensions for Police Officers.
My comment; a very dangerous idea to starve the sheepdogs who keep the sheep in line. Even that nut, Margaret Thatcher had the sense to increase police pay when she started destroying  the lives of normal workers, and knew that trouble would be brewing.

See my article, Bobby The Sheepdog.

See:http://mikeselleylyicsplus.blogspot.gr/2013/08/bobby-sheepdog.html

2.Implementation of a unified pay structure for the Greek Public Section.

3. Intervention in insurance and pension programmes with a schedule for the the complete abolition of the lump sum payment.

4. New spending cuts in Healthcare; even closure of hospitals
My comment: Was it this week that the Health Minister assured Greeks that no hospitals would be closed ?

5.Abolition of Public Institutions.

Great idea, in particular if they mean abolition of Governments!!

6. Dismissal of 11,000 Public Servants in the first month of 2014.

7.Increase of tax rates and excise duty on alcohol, tobacco and luxury goods.

My comment: mustn't let the Greeks enjoy themselves.

8. Return of VAT to 23%.

I wonder how the Greek Journalists are going to spin this sick ball on to their readers. No doubt, in the usual way, by saying it just has to be and there is no alternative.

There is an alternative and we all know it:. Tell Troika to get the hell out of here.
