Now, this is not on, an icon like the great Orwell seen with a plain ( not a tipped ) cigarette. Surely only really poor, stupid people smoke don't they ? Isn't that the message ? So how come Orwell smoked, and so did Einstein and Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde and, dare I say it, Enid Blyton , and almost every famous writer or creative person ? Shall I go on ? Yes? Jean-Paul Satre, J.R.Tolkein. Picasso, Mark twain and the list goes on and on.

But only stupid people smoke, we must remember that.

Oh yes, and Hitler banned it in many places.
