This picture was taken on the popular Greek Island, Aegina in the first week in June, at about 1-00 in the afternoon !!
Here they are , all those Tourists that Samaras , the Greek Prime Minister said are here in Greece. Look at them, they are filling the beaches up.
Oh yes, he also said that he would lower V.A.T to 9 % for the catering industry, but, strangely enough he hasn't. This would have really helped one of the most important , if not, the most important money spinners for Greece- the Tourist industry- but he can't do this, because the foreigners who now run this country told him not to. He obviously didn't like to argue with them, as he knows, despite their admittance of being totally incompetent when presented with sets of figures, they have Greece's best interests at heart, as, of course , he does. It's nothing to do with banks or keeping the E .U going at any cost, even though the people in it are suffering like hell.
Curiouser and curiouser as according to the Greek newspaper, Ekathimerini, turnover in the Greece Tourism sector fell ( let's repeat that, fell ) by 16.9 % in the first quarter of 2013, compared to a year earlier, The Hellenic Statsistical Authority said on Friday 6 .June 2013.
