George Orwell Smoking !

Now, this is not on, an icon like the great Orwell seen with a plain ( not a tipped ) cigarette. Surely only really poor, stupid people smoke don't they ? Isn't that the message ? So how come Orwell smoked, and so did Einstein and Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde and, dare I say it, Enid Blyton , and almost every famous writer ? Shall I go on ? Yes? Jean-Paul Satre, J.R.Tolkein. Picasso, Mark twain and the list goes on and on.

But only stupid people smoke, we must remember that.
