3. In Kent fallen electricity cables and flooding on the lines led to cancellation and delays.
4.Fire crews in some parts of the U.K. were busy with fires caused by lightning strikes.
5. A lightning strike was blamed for damaging a Church Tower in Greater Manchester.
6.In Lincolnshire 50 firefighters attended a blaze at a farm where lightning was believed to have ignited gas containers and set alight 400 hay bales.
Lightning filled the skies. Destruction, chaos and confusion delighted the spirits.
