Hey Greeks, I have just stumbled on a letter that you are not meant to see. It's from the Troika to the Greek Labour Ministry. You certainly haven't seen this in the news yet , have you ? This one they want kept under wraps, but, hey, it's now out in the open. This is big news; this is front page stuff, believe me.Will it be front page tomorrow. It should be, as the info' is there on the internet.Let's see if anything of this is splashed all over the front pages tomorrow, as it should be.
It's dynamite!
Get this:
A leaked Troika letter sent to the Greek Labour Ministry sees the Troika demanding a six day working week. Here are their actual words:
" Increase the number of maximum workdays to 6 days for all sections."
Bruno Waterfield of The Telegraph found the letter, and Zero Hedge. com printed it in full.
Here are the most important, or, should I say intelligible bits of it. The Troika seem to not only have trouble with simple tasks like adding up and taking away, but their use of English is about the same as a struggling Cambridge First Certificate student.
The abridged Troika Letter.
"There should be no backtracking on recently passed labour market reforms. Work schedules can be made more flexible. Required action includes increasing the number of weekly workdays, new modalities of working time and daily working hours arrangements and take up on annual leave.
Adopt a timetable establishing a single- rate statutory min. wage.
Increase the number of maximum workdays to six days a week for all sectors.
Set the minimum daily rest to 11 hours.
Delink the working hours of employees from the opening hours of the establishment.
Eliminate restrictions on minimum/ maximum time between morning and afternoon shifts."
The last two sentences are obscure. The rest of the letter was even more obscure, so I didn't include it.
The main point though is the fact that these fat nasty cats want the Greeks to go back fifty years and start working a six day week.
Six day week like your great grandfathers did. Who are they kidding ?
Also note the minimum daily rest of six hours. Surely this means, as there are twenty -four hours in a day that the Troika want the Greeks to work 13 hours a day.
Are they having a joke.?
I know the Greeks and I love the Greeks and I know that they will not take this utter bull!
