Consciousness is, I believe, a child of awareness.Awareness is the fabric, the whole, the Godhead, the Goddess, the Christ, the Buddha, the Alpha and Omega. Awareness is what is.Awareness is me and awareness is you. Awareness is it all.
Out of awareness came consciousness. Consciousness was born to enable awareness have even greater awareness, because with consciousness comes diversity. From one came two, and one and one make two. From two comes three. From three all things come.
When awareness gave birth to consciousness, consciousness created vehicles in which to use this consciousness.These vehicles are the myriad life forms that exist.
The ant has a different vehicle of consciousness than an elephant, but they are both the same consciousness, although both perceive 'the world ' in very different ways.
It is the same for humans.We perceive life very differently from a butterfly, but our essence is identical.
Moreover, our core is the same as that of the sea, the air, the trees, and all that is.This is who and what we are.
This certainly supports the Holographic theory as every part of a Hologram contains the whole.
When consciousness sprang from awareness and created vehicles ( illusory bodies ) for its experience, by the very act of doing so, the seeds of an ego were born ; the belief that the body is separate, and is one and is me.
By clinging to this false belief, consciousness in man ( not in what we call animals and other life forms on this planet ) missed the point and made a right mess of things.
Why, you may ask, did only man and not the other myriad life forms suffer the same fate ?
Because we have reached the point in our cycle when this has to be.
Remember awareness wants complete and utter awareness, so man's consciousness gives quite a different take on what is, than any other life form.
Awareness, because it knows everything, because it is everything, knew that this such distorted fevered belief in a self- in a belief that the point of consciousness was separate from the whole- would lead to a transformation, and therefore to an even greater awareness
The multiple dramas that have and are still causing tremendous suffering are leading this particular unit of consciousness ( mankind ) into his next stage of awareness.
We are reaching our destiny, which is to realize that there is no division, the observer and observed are one, no black , no white , no Christian, no Buddhist , no male , no female ; no looker or looked at; we are all one.
Any belief in separation is a lie.
We are, if you like, like a baby who is learning to crawl.
We are moving on to higher awareness.
To do this, our false belief in an ego has to be dropped.
Please note:
Reality is beyond awareness and non- awareness, but let's just learn to crawl before trying to walk.
